Circular or straight needles
Suggested size: US 7 (4.5 mm), or size needed to obtain gauge
Needle B:
Circular or straight needles, and 16” (40 cm) circular needle Suggested size: US 5 (3.75 mm), or two sizes smaller than needed to obtain gauge

Gauge
22 sts and 32 rows = 4” (10 cm) in rib on Needle B, after blocking 19 sts and 30 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Eiffel Tower pattern on Needle A, after blocking
23 sts and 30 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Cable and Lace pat- terns on Needle A, after blocking

Notes
Vest is worked from the bottom up in pieces, and then seamed with an optional split hem. The front shoulders and back saddle are joined together using a Three-Needle Bind Off. The armholes are finished with a quick pick up and immediate bind off.
