A slouchy hat that used a unique and easy stitch (seriously--no cable needle or wrapping of stitches needed!) to create an allover smocking pattern.

Finished Measurements
17” circumference at brim, unstretched
9 1/2” tall, unstretched
(to comfortably fit 18-24” head)

Yarn
Emma by The Woolen Rabbit (85% Polwarth, 15% silk; 330 yards (302 m) / 110 g] in Birch Beer; 200 yds or 1 skein

Needles
One 16” circular needle in the following sizes:
US 1 (2.25 mm) (optional, if performing Tubular Cast-On)
US 3 (3.25 mm)
US 6 (4 mm)
One set double pointed needles (dpn) in US 6 (4 mm) (optional; Magic Loop can be used at crown instead)
or sizes needed to obtain gauge
