Winter Petrichor: n. The smell of new snow on bare earth, on a bright, clear, cold winter night.

A bottom-up colorwork sweater, inspired by traditional ski sweaters and worked with a twist.

Elegance 4-ply by Blacker Yarns (80% Falkland Island wool/20% British alpaca; 190 yds 175 m/50g) in the following colors and amounts:
7 (8, 9, 10, 10, 11, 12, 13) balls Nutmeg (MC)
1 ball White (CC)

Note: This yarn has been discontinued but is still available for a limited time on various sites. If you’re unable to find it, I suggest Blacker Yarns’ Pure Shetland 4-ply in the shades Fawn (MC) and White (CC) as good substitutes. The yardage is the same so the above quantities and gauge will still apply.
